It is truly remarkable what we can accomplish when we come together. Over the past nine years, we helped build an education program that now serves 1,200 students each day. Today, that program is led locally by SLIMS, and we continue to support their work through technology, resources and ongoing partnership.

Over time, this work has grown into more than a program. It has become a community of children, caregivers, teachers and leaders who have carried this mission alongside us.

In this season, much of my focus has shifted toward walking closely with the children and families at the heart of that community, especially when they face urgent, life-altering needs. Mohamed’s medical care, education and long-term stability are one example of the consistent, hands-on support this work sometimes requires.

Your generosity makes all of this possible: sustaining educational access at scale, supporting the local leaders who make the work possible and stepping in deeply when a child or family faces an extraordinary need.

I am so grateful for your continued support, especially those of you who give monthly and allow Education Cures to remain steady, responsive and rooted in relationship.
